오늘은 세계 1인당 GDP(GDP per capita) 순위와 한중일 3국의 1인당 GDP Trend를 알아보겠습니다.
2022년 한국의 1인당 GDP는 $34,990로 세계 32위입니다. 1$ 당 1,200원으로 환산해보면 약 4,200만 원이므로, 4인 가족 기준으로는 약 1.68억 원이나 되는 돈입니다. 우리 가족이 이 만큼 벌고 있나 생각해보면 갸우뚱하게 될 수도 있는 금액이지만, 평균값이기 때문에 많은 사람들이 이보다 적게 돈을 벌고 있다면, 일부 부자들 누군가는 이보다 많이 벌고 있다는 뜻이겠지요.
■ 한/중/일 3국의 1인당 GDP Trend (1980년~2022년)
한중일 3국의 2022년 1인당 GDP는 일본이 39,240 US dollars, 한국은 34,990 US dollars, 중국은 14,100 US dollars으로 아직까지는 일본이 가장 앞서있지만, 일본의 경우에는 1995년 이후 1인당 GDP가 비슷한 수준에서 정체되고 있는 반면, 한국의 경우 1인당 GDP가 계속해서 성장하고 있는 추세로 머지않은 시기에 역전도 가능할 것으로 보입니다. 중국의 경우에는 국가 총생산에서는 G2로 올라섰고 1인당 GDP도 괄목할만한 성장을 이루었지만, 워낙 많은 인구수로 인해 단기간 내에 한국과 일본을 따라오기는 어려울 것 같습니다.

1인당 GDP 순위는 다음과 같습니다. 모든 국가의 정보를 다 가져오기에는 너무 많기 때문에 30 thousand (US dollars) 이상의 국가들의 정보만 가져왔습니다. 그 이름도 유명한 룩셈부르크가 역시 1위를 차지하고 있으며, 미국은 76.03 thousand로 8위입니다. 일본의 경우 39.24 thousand로 28위, 대한민국은 34.99 thousand로 32위입니다.
1인당 GDP의 경우에는 국가의 인구수와도 밀접한 관계가 있기 때문에 그 자체만으로 해당 국가의 경쟁력을 판단하기는 어려운 요소임을 참고하여 살펴봐주시기 바랍니다.
